Barbara Walters has a new exclusive interview with the pregnant man. Thomas and his wife Nancy reveal that Thomas is pregnant again and about to become a mother for the second time .

Oprah Winfrey aired her exclusive People Magazine interview with "The World's First Pregnant Man" on April 3rd. Pregnant man Thomas Beatie was born a female whose birth name was Tracy Lagondino before it was legally changed.

Thomas Beatie, a transgender, welcomed a baby girl, Susan, June 29. Since sharing the story of Susan's birth with ABC News, he and his wife, Nancy Beatie, hadn't spoken to the media until they sat down last month with Walters.

Thomas Beatie, who is in his first trimester, tells Walters he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone after Susan's birth so he could have another baby.

"I feel good," he said. "I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track." He says the baby is due June 12. source

With the world abuzz of the news of his second pregnancy, Thomas Beatie tells the definitive story of his first pregnancy this Tuesday on Discovery Health. Discovery Health presents the only documentary featuring professional footage of Thomas and his wife, Nancy, through the final weeks of his first pregnancy, the landmark birth of their first child and their eventual return home. PREGNANT MAN premieres Tuesday, November 18, at 9:00 PM ET/PT on Discovery Health. In addition, an encore presentation of PREGNANT MAN will air the following day, Wednesday, November 19, at 10:00 PM ET/PT.

The pregnant man Thomas Beattie shocked America with his appearance on Oprah. People reports that the  pregnant transgender man gave birth to a baby girl and is now a mother.

Thomas Beatie, also known as The Pregnant Man, has given birth to a girl, he confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Beatie, 34, who began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, while preserving his female reproductive organs, and his wife Nancy, 46, welcomed a daughter at an Oregon hospital on June 29. Both Beatie and his daughter are healthy and doing well, he tells PEOPLE.

Beatie, who took twice-weekly doses of testosterone and had his breasts surgically removed during his female-to-male transition, made headlines around the globe last April when he announced in an exclusive interview in PEOPLE and on The Oprah Winfrey Show that he was expecting a child – while legally living as a man. source

The pregnant man who conceived a child after a gender-reassignment operation has apparently given birth to a healthy baby girl. “She’s really cute, really pretty,” a source told ABC News. Thomas Beatie, 34, told People magazine that he had given birth at a hospital in Bend, Oregon on Sunday. “The only thing different about me is that I can’t breastfeed my baby. But a lot of mothers don’t,” he said, adding that he planned to publish a book about the experience this autumn. The bearded Mr Beatie was born a girl and named Tracy Lagondino, but had gender-reassignment surgery and is now legally male and married to Nancy. The couple, together for ten years, run a custom screenprinting business in Bend. He decided to get pregnant because his wife had had a hysterectomy. He was able to conceive because he kept his female organs when he switched genders. To conceive, Mr Beatie stopped the bimonthly testosterone injections he was receiving as part of his sex change. The couple bought anonymous donor vials from a sperm bank and, struggling to find a doctor willing to help them, resorted to home insemination with a syringe bought from a vet that is typically used to feed birds. “I actually opted not to do anything to my reproductive organs because I wanted to have a child one day. I see pregnancy as a process and it doesn’t define who I am,” Mr Beatie told the TV talk-show host Oprah Winfrey in April. “I feel it’s not a male or female desire to have a child. It’s a human need. I’m a person and I have the right to have a biological child,” he said. Mr Beatie caused a sensation when he went public with his pregnancy in Advocate, a gay magazine. He posed holding his bulging naked stomach for a photograph reminiscent of Demi Moore’s headline-grabbing 1991 cover photo for Vanity Fair. “How does it feel to be a pregnant man? Incredible,” he wrote. “I will be my daughter’s father, and Nancy will be her mother. We will be a family,” he said. source

Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has scored an exclusive interview with the pregnant man making headlines. 

According to the Oprah.com website Thomas Beatie's first television interview will be on Thursday's April 3rd Oprah show.  Watch the Oprah Thomas Beatie Promo. Beatie is a transsexual who has undergone reconstructive surgery and testosterone therapy and now considers herself to be a man. Because Beatie still has her reproductive organs she was able to be artificially inseminated once stopping bi-monthly testosterone treatments, she has said.

Oregon resident Thomas Beatie told "The Advocate" magazine late last month that she is carrying a daughter for herself and her wife Nancy.

Beatie said, in a first person account in "The Advocate," that she is officially classified as a male and was allowed to legally marry her wife Nancy.

Billing the interview with Beatie as an "Oprah Show and People Magazine exclusive," Oprah.com also notes that the show's cameras will capture the Beatie having an ultrasound and get an inside look at the couple's plans for the nursery.

Although some have expressed doubt over the pregnancy rumors, including Beatie's neighbors, Dr. Manny Alvarez, managing editor of health for FOXNews.com, said it is possible that Beatie could be pregnant. "Even though in theory this individual is classified as a male and has been living a life as a male, it's absolutely possible for her to have a child if she still possesses the female reproductive organs," said Alvarez. source
