Controversial conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh was named to Barbara Walters' 10 "Most Fascinating People" list. Yes, we know what you are thinking and he did really make it to the list. The new voice of the Republican party is at it again with comments about UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Rush Limbaugh was criticized by many people after he said that he hopes President Barack Obama fails in his attempts to fix the United States economy. Now Limbaugh has made crass and offensive remarks after Gordon Brown praised President Barack Obama for improving the global economy and America's image during his first 100 days in office. Here is excerpt from Prime Minister Gordon Brown's speech to President Barack Obama at the G20 Summit.
"I want to thank you for your leadership, your vision and your courage. Which you have already shown with your Presidency. And congratulate you on your dynamism, energy and indeed the achievements you have been responsible for your first 70 days in office have changed America and you've changed America's relationship with the world."
In response, Limbaugh said on his radio show that Gordon Brown may suffer from "anal poisoning" after Brown complimented Barack Obama for being successful as the President of the United States.
Rush Limbaugh Show
"The slobbering. This guy folks I'm telling you...If he keeps this up throughout the G20. Gordon Brown will come down with anal poisoning and may die from it."
Limbaugh takes it a step further and says that if Brown continues to praise Obama then he may die from the poisoning. Rush Limbaugh's "brown nosing" comments are so disgusting and revolting that they definitely show that he lacks class. People die from serious illnesses everyday and this was not a laughing matter.
I don't care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: "Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails." Somebody's gotta say it. Were the liberals out there hoping Bush succeeded or were they out there trying to destroy him before he was even inaugurated? Why do we have to play the game by their rules? Why do we have to accept the premise here that because of the historical nature of his presidency, that we want him to succeed? This is affirmative action, if we do that. We want to promote failure, we want to promote incompetence, we want to stand by and not object to what he's doing simply because of the color of his skin? Sorry. I got past the historical nature of this months ago. He is the president of the United States, he's my president, he's a human being, and his ideas and policies are what count for me, not his skin color, not his past, not whatever ties he doesn't have to being down with the struggle, all of that's irrelevant to me. We're talking about my country, the United States of America, my nieces, my nephews, your kids, your grandkids. Why in the world do we want to saddle them with more liberalism and socialism? Why would I want to do that? So I can answer it, four words, "I hope he fails." And that would be the most outrageous thing anybody in this climate could say. Shows you just how far gone we are. Well, I know, I know. I am the last man standing. [RUSH LIMBAUGH]
