Rapper Lil Kim almost literally lost her clothes during her performance of the Jive on Dancing with the Stars. Does this sound like a publicity stunt? This is Lil Kim who is famous for not wearing clothes. Remember how Lil Kim said that she first started watching the show while in prison and dedicated her dance to everyone on lockdown? Lil' Kim nearly had a big wardrobe malfunction on "Dancing With the Stars."This week's front-runner on the ABC dance competition had some trouble with her top at the end of a jive with partner Derek Hough on Monday night. Host Tom Bergeron provided cover while the rapper adjusted as she and Hough approached the judges table.

Lil' Kim told KABC-TV after the show: "I don't know why this happens a lot of the time, but ... the girls were tryin' to come out."

The nearly X-rated moment was edited out by the time the show was rebroadcast on the West Coast, but it didn't seem to bother the judges: Lil' Kim and Hough posted a night's best 28 out of a possible 30 for their spirited dance. [AP]

LIL KIM WINS $500K IN LAWSUIT AGAINST LIL CEASE

Lil' Kim (born Kimberly Jones) was awarded $500,000 on Wednesday by a Manhattan federal judge in a lawsuit filed against Lil' Cease (born James Lloyd) of Junior M.A.F.I.A. and his entertainment company, Ground Zero Entertainment, for wrongfully banking off of Lil' Kim's fame.

The Queen B was initially seeking $6 million in damages but federal Judge  Jed Rakoff ruled for a half-million-dollars in her claim that an unauthorized DVD "The Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A." misused her name and image.   While it's not all of what she had hoped for she was also able to put the breaks on the production of the follow up DVD "The Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A.: Reloaded"  (source)

LIL KIM DROPPED FROM ATLANTIC RECORDS PLANS INDEPENDENT RELEASE

Rapper Lil' Kim has left Atlantic Records and intends to release her upcoming untitled album independently in April or May 2008.  Billboard reports it to be rumored that Kim will join Capitol Music Group's independent arm, Imperial Records. [SOURCE]
