JENNIFER LOPEZ SWEETFACE CLOTHING LINE SHUTS DOWN

According to WWD Jennifer Lopez has decided to shutdown her Sweetface clothing line in hard economic times. Jenny from the Block's popularity has declined after her Diddy romance ended.  JLO is not the hot item anymore with her Marc Anthony marriage and babies. Do you think Jennifer Lopez realizes she would have been part of a power couple if she had stayed with Diddy?  Some people believe the Jennifer Lopez Ben Affleck relationship and their box office bombs is what really caused  JLO career to go off track. While Jennifer Lopez is staying busy filming her new movie, “The Back-Up Plan,” and recording songs for her first album since “Brave” was released in 2007, not everything in her empire is still going full steam ahead. We recently found out her Sweetface line has been temporarily nixed and will no longer be available in the States. The company said in a statement, “In light of new company strategies, we have decided to put the Sweetface line on hiatus while we prepare to reintroduce the brand in the near future with new messaging points and an entirely new fashion point of view.”

Jennifer’s not the only celebrity to put a big screech on their fashion line this year. Back in March, Lauren Conrad decided to put her Lauren Conrad Collection on hold (though later she announced she would, instead, be turning her creative focus toward a line for Kohl’s). In February, Mandy Moore’s Mblem label was also shut down.

This isn’t the first time the Latin beauty’s clothes have had to take a leave of absence. In 2007, her JLO brand (the first label under her direction, which was launched in 2001) was shut down in the U.S. and eventually replaced with another line called justsweet. The latter had a short existence in stores, however, and was pulled after only a few seasons. [source]

JENNIFER LOPEZ NAMED HER TWINS MAXIMIANO AND EMELINA ? | DAYANARA TORRES MARC ANTHONY'S EX TELL ALL BOOK DEAL

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins a boy and girl on February 22nd. It's rumored Jennifer was overheard calling the newborn twins Maximiano and Emelina.  The babies are the first children for Lopez and the fourth and fifth for her husband Marc Anthony. According to reports Jennifer was released from the maternity ward and is now resting at home.  The latest buzz is about the expensive suite J.Lo stayed in to give birth. UPDATE: THE TWINS NAMES  CONFIRMED WITH JENNIFER LOPEZ'S MANAGER ARE "MAX" AND "EMME".

Lopez and Marc spent a whopping $700,000 to reserve a luxurious birthing suite at the hospital since the celebrity mother had the $175,000-a-week suite reserved for three weeks before even going into labor.

The couple, furthermore, are said to have "shelled out $300,000 on private doctors and nurses, $300,000 on security and $100,000 on personal assistants in the run-up to the birth." As of the birthing suite, In Touch said it included white couches, a large Apple computer monitor, a private kitchen and two flat-screen TVs. source

The only other worry the couple has to face is a rumored tell-all book by Marc Anthony's ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

The book is likely to be juicy especially since Marc divorced former Miss Universe Dayanara in 2004 to marry Jennifer "J.Lo" Lopez. The NY Post Page Six states:

Dayanara Torres plans to spill the beans on her short and tumultuous marriage to Marc Anthony, reports The Post's Sandra Guzman. The former Miss Universe is writing "Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce," which will chronicle how she got over her painful union with the Skeletor - who left her for Jennifer Lopez - to find true happiness. But let's hope Torres has good lawyers. When Ojani Noa, J.Lo's first hubby, tried doing the same, he was shut down in court by Lopez's lawyers. Torres' tome will be published by Penguin Book's new Latin author line, Celebra. source

JENNIFER LOPEZ GIVES BIRTH TO TWINS

Actress/Singer/Entrepeneur Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins this morning. JLo. and her husband Marc Anthony welcomed a boy and a girl. 

The babies were born early Friday in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.

"Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," Lopez's manager Simon Fields tells PEOPLE exclusively.  They're the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39. (source)
