John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have supposedly broken up because John is addicted to Twitter and sends too many tweets on his account. Jennifer Aniston is rumored to have gotten fed up with the lack of attention she was getting in her relationship so she gave John his walking papers and did the dumping this time.  Why did Jennifer Aniston take John back in the first place? He was telling everything to the paparazzi the first time they broke up. This is the first celebrity breakup which can be blamed on Twitter social networking technology.

Speaking about the online social networking phenomenon, which allows users to post real time ‘updates’ of up to 140 characters for their followers to read, the musician said: “It’s inherently silly and it’s inherently dumb. If you really think that Twitter is the pathway to spiritual enlightenment, well...It’s one step away from sending pictures of your poop."

Earlier this month the 31-year-old Grammy winner split with actress Jennifer Aniston for the second time. The former Friends star reportedly ended the relationship after growing tired of John’s constant ‘tweeting’, or status updating, on the website.A source told US magazine Star: "John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he'd say: 'I've been so busy with work. I'm sorry I haven't had time to call you back.

"Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn't have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates”, the source claimed.

"Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he'd update with some stupid line. And in her mind, she was like 'He has time for all this Twittering, but he can't send me a text, an email, make a call?'.

"Soon after news of his relationship troubles broke, Mayer once again turned to the website to connect with his 400,000 fans, or ‘followers’.

We wonder why Jennifer Aniston took John Mayer back when he talked about her something awful during their last breakup. Was their reunion meant to boost John Mayer's profile prior to the release of his upcoming talk show?  It seems that John Mayer can't sell a photo op without Jennifer Aniston in the picture because everybody loves talking about her love life.  The pair made their first official red carpet outing as a couple at the Oscars and broke up again shortly after the excitement died down.
John Mayer wrote the cryptic message "This heart didn't come with instructions." on his twitter page. What could this say about his breakup? The latest rumor is that Jennifer Aniston called John Mayer "Brad" in bed and that John plans to write a tell-all book about it. Well, if I downgraded from Brad Pitt to John Mayer, I might be guilty of that too. Something tells me that Brad hasn't made this mistake with Angelina. But what does John Mayer's Twitter message mean? Is he just having fun with his fans, is he using Twitter as an outlet for a broken heart? Or does he want us to speculate because he craves the publicity? [GATHER]

John Mayer recently went on Twitter to tweet about his former girlfriend Jennifer Aniston but it appears that the loudmouth crooner isn’t quite done writing about the 40-year-old actress.

Mr. Mayer has been overheard telling friends that he is contemplating penning an unflattering book about Jen and his ill-fated relationship with her.

A pal of his tells the upcoming issue Star mag: “John just can’t keep his mouth shut and he’s telling friends that he’s thinking of going public with all their juicy secrets.”

What’s more? John is looking to reveal all things candid and embarrassing. Star writes: For one, Jen made a slip of the tongue calling John “Brad”… while they were in bed! Jennifer Aniston tried to explain on today's Oprah about the man stealing "uncool" remark she made in Vogue about Angelina Jolie. AJ and her baby daddy Brad Pitt are reportedly thrown by Jennifer Aniston's public comments about their breakup. Why should they be weirded out by what Jennifer Aniston had to say after Angelina boasted about the Brangelina affair while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith? Angelina was  voted as the third "most hated" woman in Britain due to her affair with Brad Pitt. Jennifer cleared up the pregnancy rumors and said she wasn't knocked up. Jennifer "unlucky in love" Aniston also admitted that she was back to dating John Mayer who acted like a douche over the summer when he broke up with Jen via text  and then told TMZ paparazzi that he didn't want to waste Jennifer Aniston's time.

John Mayer finally talked to his BFFs, the paparazzi, about his recent breakup with Jennifer Aniston.

Yes, even after they broke up, he's still milking the benefits of Aniston's "Friends" fame.

And can anyone understand what the heck he's talking about? She's a "lovely person" and he "didn't want to waste her time"? What, like she's got so little left? And "go in honest, go out honest?" Oh, give it a rest.

Sounds like another lame immature boy excuse for not wanting to make a commitment to the person he's sleeping with. They were together, what, two to three months? That's not a relationship, that's a prolonged hook-up.

Mayer was indignant at reports his relationship with Jen was torpedoed because he cheated. He says, "I ended a relationship to be alone, because I didn't want to waste someone's time." All the "cheating" stories are cheap lies, Mayer says, adding, "It's the most normal thing in the world" when a relationship runs its course. source

But when Oprah asked Jennifer on her show today about calling Jolie's remarks about falling in love with her then-husband Brad Pitt "really uncool," her defense was that she responded to the reporter's question.

"I basically just answered it as honestly as I could," Aniston says on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Yeah, because stars NEVER say "I don't want to discuss my personal life" or "Next question."

All this comes as her film is about to open and has stirred up interest in in her divorce from Brad Pitt. And while it's great publicity for Aniston, it's become pretty annoying to Brad and Angelina.

Brad and Angelina were said to be “totally thrown” by Aniston's Vogue interview, thinking she had already ''moved on ... and wouldn't want to reopen this old wound," a close source told the Chicago Sun-Times, adding that Pitt had personally called Aniston to voice his displeasure.

Aniston's spokesman has refused to comment to the Sun-Times on the alleged Pitt call. The e-mailed response? ''That's personal information. ... That really is no one's business.''

On Oprah today, Aniston also said that she feels she's been "unbelievably lucky with love."source

Angelina Jolie recently told the press that she and Brad Pitt fell in love during the filming of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

And even though it's been four whole years since her divorce from Brad, Jennifer Aniston thinks Angie should keep such intimate information to herself. Then she proceeds to fan the flames of the catfight by spilling secrets of her own in the upcoming December issue of Vogue.  Blazing headline on the new Vogue cover: "What Angelina did was very uncool."

Inside the mag, Aniston complains that Jolie went too far in outlining the exact timeline of her relationship with Pitt on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

"There was stuff printed that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening," Aniston says of the Jolie interview, which appeared in Vogue about two years ago. "I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss."

"That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool."

Despite this, Jen says her split with Brad was not that horrible.

"I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split," she tells Vogue. "It wasn’t mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can’t talk to Jen and Jen can’t talk to Brad because this person won’t allow it. It just didn’t happen. The marriage didn’t work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other." source

According to MSNBC after John Mayer ran his mouth about his decision to dump Jennifer Aniston his stock plummeted.

Jennifer Aniston’s pals were rolling their eyes over the weekend about John Mayer’s unofficial press conferences discussing the couple's breakup.

“Jen will never kiss and tell, but it’s she who ended the relationship,” a source close to Jen says. “(Mayer's) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child. Expect Jen to behave like a lady.”

Mayer first explained his version of the breakup to an OK! magazine reporter, who quickly posted online that Mayer did the dumping. "I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right,” Mayer told the reporter.

Yet Aniston's pal says the something that "wasn’t right" was Mayer’s behavior toward the press during the relationship. “He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers," the source said. “He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn’t want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.” 

Another issue: Money. “Jen was tired of paying for everything," said another source close to Aniston. “Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer's) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. ... Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.” source
