The National Enquirer is sticking to their story that 17 year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is expecting another baby. The tabloid claims a family member confirmed that Britney Spears' younger sister is preggers and knocked up. The Enquierer had reported about the pregnancy despite Jamie Lynn, Lynn Spears and Casey Aldrige's denials. The National Equirer claims that Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant because she didn't know a woman could conceive while breastfeeding. Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her newborn Maddie in June.

Despite anonymous public denials, a Spears family member has come forward and confirmed that 17-year-old Jamie Lynn IS pregnant again!

What’s more, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned that Casey Aldridge, the baby’s father, erupted in anger when he found out. Jamie Lynn had been keeping the pregnancy secret and Casey learned about it through media reports after The ENQUIRER broke the story earlier this week.

Now, a close family member has revealed exclusively that the Spears family is in an uproar and Jamie Lynn is being pressured to abort the baby. The anonymous public denials of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, says the family member, are simply buying the Spears family time until they decide what to do.

“Jamie Lynn’s mom is furious about the pregnancy,” the family member told an ENQUIRER source. “And she’s livid the news leaked out, especially during her book tour.

“Lynne doesn’t want to talk about it publicly until they sort this out.

“Jamie Lynn is being pressured by people very close to her to abort. But no decision has been made yet.

  “Casey is furious. Jamie Lynn hadn’t told him about the pregnancy. He learned about it in the media and then confronted her and she told him it was true.

“Lynne and Jamie Lynn have been arguing nonstop by phone.”

With the family in turmoil, one thing is certain, the source told the NATIONAL ENQUIRER: "If Jamie Lynn has this baby, you can be sure they will try to sell the official confirmation of the pregnancy to a magazine, as well as the baby photos."

The 17-year-old sister of Britney Spears gave birth to her first child, Maddie Briann, on June 19.

And Jamie is desperate to keep the news of a second pregnancy a secret, reports the National Enquirer.

A source tells the publication, "Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical.

"Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they're trying to keep the news from getting out.

"Jamie Lynn believed she couldn't get pregnant while she was breast-feeding.

"She'd expected to have her period by early September, but a home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out.

"Lynne was livid when she found out."

Teenage mom Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of pop star Britney Spears, showed off her new baby girl in an OK! magazine exclusive on Wednesday and said being a mother was "so much fun."

Spears, 17, gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann on June 19 and is raising the baby with boyfriend Casey Aldridge in their Mississippi home.

"I love taking care of her. It is so much fun. I just want to hug her and kiss her, and I'm happy all the time," she told OK!.

"Around here everyone has the same focus. The focus is family and that's a good way to live," she said of her plans to live in the South.

Jamie Lynn, whose pregnancy initially shocked both her family and millions of young fans of her "Zoey 101" TV show on Nickelodeon, said she and Aldridge had not set a date for their wedding. Spears and Aldridge, the son of a Tennessee paper mill worker, met at church.  "I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed," she told OK!

But principal Joseph Sullivan knows at least part of the reason there's been such a spike in teen pregnancies in this Massachusetts fishing town. School officials started looking into the matter as early as October after an unusual number of girls began filing into the school clinic to find out if they were pregnant. By May, several students had returned multiple times to get pregnancy tests, and on hearing the results, "some girls seemed more upset when they weren't pregnant than when they were," Sullivan says. All it took was a few simple questions before nearly half the expecting students, none older than 16, confessed to making a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together. Then the story got worse. "We found out one of the fathers is a 24-year-old homeless guy," the principal says, shaking his head.

The film shows a neatly packaged "oversimplified" way to deal with teen pregnancy. The moral of Juno is that a teenager having a baby isn't morally wrong and doesn't have to be branded with a Scarlet Letter because everyone can be happy after childbirth. Juno puts her baby up for adoption and then she gets to be a regular kid again. The film earned an Academy Award and Independent Spirit Award for former stripper turned first time screenwriter Diablo Cody. Newcomer Ellen Page also became a household name and skyrocketed to mainstream superstardom.

The pregnant teenager was so excited by the media coverage she received in her small town that she felt like a famous celebrity.

COOS BAY - A Coos Bay teen mom is put in the national spotlight, as a tabloid talk show coins her as the real-life character Juno from the popular movie.

Last month, the pregnancy of 18-year-old Teka Steward and the birth of her daughter, Tailor, were highlighted in two episodes of the television show, Inside Edition.

The show chose the Marshfield High School senior after she appeared in a segment about teen pregnancy on a national morning program in mid-April, which found her through an advice web site.

The teen, who wasn't paid for her time, says the experience has been surreal.

"It was kind of weird but it was also exciting," says Steward. "Just because I'm from Coos Bay, just a little town on the Coast. It was nice to be able to help out. It always seems like big cities are where problems are occurring." source

 

The music industry sang notes of congratulations to Jamie Lynn Spears Thursday night at a Songwriters Hall of Fame event in New York.

Spears's infant daughter, Maddie Briann, made her debut Thursday morning.

"Congratulations Jamie Lynn. Wow, I've not had a baby yet," English singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield said at the soirée. "She'll be able to give us all advice when it happens to us."

The performers and songwriters told the Zoey 101 star not to get too discouraged by the overwhelming media coverage of her early pregnancy and engagement to 19-year-old Casey Aldridge, a Mississippi pipe layer.

"My sister had a child at a young age, too, and I understand what that is like," soul singer John Legend said.

"You just hope that her family supports her and helps her with the baby and she'll be all right."

Country singer-songwriter Blake Shelton echoed the sentiments of many of Spears' friends and family, saying he expects she'll be a wonderful mom.

"I'm from a small town in Oklahoma, and any time you have a teenage girl that is pregnant and has a baby that's going to be the focus," he said. "It doesn't mean she's not going to be a great mother."  source

Seventeen year old Jamie Lynn earned her G.E.D. aka Ghetto Education Diploma, got into a brawl at a party and almost was involved in a shootout when her baby daddy Casey Aldrige waved his gun at a paparazzo. Dang y'all! We can't wait for Britney Spears' mother to release her parenting book called "Pop Culture Mom." 

On Thursday, publisher Thomas Nelson — which puts out inspirational literature and Bibles — issued a statement on its Web site insisting that the book, which is to be released under the title "Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," will not be a parenting guide, as had previously been reported, but rather a memoir.

"Lynne's memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it," Michael S. Hyatt, the president and CEO of the publisher, said in the statement. "It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities."

Hyatt added, "We believe in redemption. Therefore, we are standing with Lynne and her family during this difficult time. Though the book has been delayed, we believe God is at work. The story is still being written, and we are confident in His ability to turn ashes into beauty."

According to People magazine, "Pop Culture Mom" is on indefinite hold. A spokesperson, who was not named, told the mag that "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not canceled." The book, which Publishers Weekly had previously described as "Lynne Spears' personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community," was actually put on hold last week, the spokesperson said. source

There is a new baby in the Spears clan! Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning.

PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann.

"Just the family was there," says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. "Everyone is healthy and happy."

Jamie Lynn's sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.

At a post birthday bash gone berserk, pregnant teen star Jamie Lynn Spears was injured trying to break up a brawl while daddy-to-be Casey Aldridge was knocking back brewskis with his buds!

An estimated 500 teens showed up at a barn party April 5 at the home of Casey’s pal.

Despite security guards for crowd control, the police were summoned to investigate a possible sexual assault on a girl.

Jamie Lynn, who had just turned 17 the day before had been reluctant to attend but had agreed to be 18 year old Casey’s designated ditz – uh – driver.

Just past midnight two of Casey’s pals let their testosterone get the beast of them while jockeying for the same girl. Words and then fists flew – furiously! “Jamie Lynn decided she could break it up but got elbowed in the mouth by one of the boys,” said an insider.  “She went crazy, screaming at everyone!”

Security promptly ended the Spears-down but a distraught Jamie Lynn had a few choice words for her boozy fiancée. “Jamie Lynn kept asking Casey, ‘What if I would’ve gone into labor, what help would you be?’” the insider revealed. source
