Former NBA player Dennis Rodman is in trouble again. Rodman was arrested in LA and faces domestic violence charges.
Two-time NBA all-star Dennis Rodman was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of domestic violence.
Rodman was arrested at a Los Angeles hotel where he reportedly struck a woman, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.
"During the investigation, police learned he had hit a woman and she suffered injuries to her arms," Richard French, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, told the newspaper.
Rodman, 46, played for five championship teams during his 14-year career, which featured Defensive Player of the Year awards in 1990 and 1991.
Known for his outrageous off-the-court personality as well as his rebounding ability, Rodman has had numerous legal problems with domestic abuse and alcohol in the past.
A manager for Rodman, Steve Simon told the Times that the former All-Star has been struggling to cope with a recent divorce to Michelle Moyer.
Rodman has not been able to see his children and is "heartbroken" about it, Simon told the Times.
According to the newspaper, Simon said that alcohol was involved in the altercation on Wednesday, which left the woman with a bruise.
"The legal process will sort itself out," Simon said. "I'm kind of waiting for the facts to unfold because it's really uncharacteristic for him." source
