BRAD PITT DEFENDS ANGELINA JOLIE & DENIES BRANGELINA AFFAIR DURING JENNIFER ANISTON MARRIAGE

Brad Pitt is speaking out to W magazine and defending his baby mama/lady love Angelina Jolie. Brad is denying he was unfaithful to Jennifer Aniston during their marriage and is shooting down rumors of a Brangelina affair. Angelina recently confessed that the couple fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

In the issue on stands January 20, Brad tells W how he feels about his ex-wife Jennifer Ansiton's recent headline-grabbing interview where she told Vogue it was "uncool" of Angelina Jolie to publicly comment about forming a connection with Brad while he was still married to Jennifer. "Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart," Brad says. "I think she got dragged into that one, and then there's a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It's so created." "We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers," Brad tells the mag about his friendship with Jennifer. "I don't see how there cannot be [that]. That's life, man. That's life." The 45-year-old actor went on to defend his relationship with Angelina, saying, "What people don't understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year …We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that's all." As for marriage with Angelina, Brad says the couple will not wed until the right to marry is extended to all. source

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attended the red carpet premiere of Brad's Oscar pic The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The film opens nationwide on December 25th which is Christmas Day. Click here for more photos from the red carpet premiere.

Taraji P. Henson, Sanaa Lathan and Tyrese were also at the Hollywood premiere held at Mann's Theater in Hollywood. Taraji has been getting Oscar buzz for her role as Brad Pitt's mother in the epic film.  Taraji told Binside TV during a press mixer for Tyler Perry's  "The Family That Preys" that she was excited about the opportunity to work with Brad Pitt and disappointed that her role with the former "Sexiest Man Alive" didn't involve any love scenes since she was playing his mother. Taraji also spoke candidly about how much she admired Brad and Angelina's relationship. Taraji said that Brad Pitt was excited like a schoolboy when he had the opportunity to introduce her to Angelina and said  ""Taraji I want you to meet Angie." Brad Pitt recently defended his baby mama Angelina about a NYT article that said  Angie was controlling the press. In Brad's Rollingstone interview he confirm the Brangelina affair rumors by saying he fell in love with Angelina while making the movie Mr. and Mrs. SMith.

In the new issue of Rolling Stone (out Friday), Brad Pitt comes to Angelina Jolie's defense over a recent New York Times article that says she is a master at controlling the press.

"It sounded to me like the story made Angie out to be manipulative in some way," he says. "She is savvy."

He continues, "I get defensive. [They're] talking about not only the woman I love, but one of the people on this planet who I have the greatest respect for. I think she's as honorable as anyone I've ever met."

He adds that Jolie got him into flying.

"She's definitely more experienced," he says. "Yeah, she's badass."


As for his favorite Jolie film?

Their 2005 action flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Why?

"Because you know ... six kids," he says. "Because I fell in love." source

Brad Pitt appears on Oprah today to promote his new movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".  Brad is trying to get the Oscar buzz going for his film because Brad has never been nominated. Director David Fincher screened 20 minutes of the film at the Telluride film festival and the early reactions about the flick we not all favorable.

My first event here at the Telluride Film Festival was a tribute to David Fincher, arguably one the best filmmakers currently working in Hollywood. The tribute featured about 45 minutes of clips from his previous filmography, an incredibly lengthy and somewhat boring on-stage interview (thanks to Variety's unexciting critic Todd McCarthy as the interviewer), and roughly 20 minutes of select footage from his upcoming film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Highlights from Fincher's Q&A included referencing  Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as the the film that sparked his interest in filmmaking as well as mentioning I Saw What You Did, Jaws, and Rear Window as the movies that he remembers most as a kid. And as for the Benjamin Button footage - it unfortunately wasn't that great. source

Kids with names that are outside the norm usually end up wanting their names changed to something more like everyone else's. Now Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's two-and-half-year old daughter has upped the ante. Shiloh will only respond to the name 'John.' Brad Pitt made this hilarious admission to Oprah Winfrey on her program scheduled to air Nov. 19, reports People.com. "She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it's a Peter Pan thing," Pitt says. "So we've got to call her John. 'Shi, do you want ...' – 'John. I'm John.' And then I'll say, 'John, would you like some orange juice?' And she goes, 'No!' So, you know, it's just that kind of stuff that's cute to parents, and it's probably really obnoxious to other people." The star of the upcoming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button says it takes a half hour jsut to get their six kids into the car. "Angie's militant about it. She's right on top of it," he says. "Thank God, because I'm always forgetting something." source
