KIMORA LEE SIMMONS & DJIMON HOUNSOU WELCOME A SON KIMORA TWEETS BIRTH ON TWITTER

Congrats to Baby Phat designer Kimora Lee Simmons and her baby daddy Djimon Hounsou on the birth of their son. The couple welcomed a baby boy.  Kimora tweeted her childbirth and labor pains on Twitter.

The blue team has, indeed, grown by one! Kimora Lee Simmons and partner Djimon Hounsou are the proud parents of a brand new baby boy, Kimora’s rep confirms to E! Online. According to the statement,

“Kimora and Djimon’s son was born Saturday morning, May 30th.”

Her labor and delivery were chronicled via Twitter, with Kimora tweeting shortly after 1 a.m., “It’s time!! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!!” Two hours later the 34-year-old Baby Phat CEO and TV personality followed up with a photo, adding, “Having contractions now! Ooo-wee! It’s like WHOA!”

Baby boy’s name and birth stats are yet to be revealed, but Kimora has updated with a new tweet, saying, “It’s a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes! More to come. Thank God. And God Bless! Kimora + Djimon.” [CELEBRITY BABY BLOG]

SUSAN BOYLE FINAL PERFORMANCE DIVERSITY DANCE TROUPE BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT WINNER FINAL PERFORMANCE VIDEO

Fan favorite Susan Boyle did not win on Britain's Got Talent.  The internet star finished in second place to dance group "Diversity". According to reports Susan Boyle was involved in two foul-mouthed outbursts and threatened to quit the show after the pressure. Witnesses were shocked when the singer swore after watching PIers Morgan compliment her BGT competition 12 year old  Shaheen Jarfargholi. Watch the final performances for Susan Boyle and "Diversity". We liked dance group "Flawless" and their choreography better but "Diversity" won in the year of  the Barack Obama phenomenon. Poor little Shaheen sung his heart out and he didn't even place in the top 3. Britain's Got Talent seems to favor dancers to win the show and perform for the Queen.  Last year's winner 14 year old  George Sampson returned to Britain's Got Talent but his performance wasn't a show stopper like last year.

The Scottish singer is said to have began swearing angrily after Morgan told told 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi his had been 'the best singing performance we have heard in the semi-finals so far'.

Watching the show the hotel's bar, Boyle is accused of sticking two fingers up at a television and shouting 'f*** off', before stomping off to her room.

The BGT finalist was involved in an earlier foul-mouthed outburst outside the Wembley Plaza Hotel. Boyle's spokesman said she lost her temper after being 'wound up' by two strangers. Despite her immense popularity, overwhelming favorite and Internet phenomenon Susan Boyle came in second to dance group Diversity in the "Britain's Got Talent" television contest on Saturday.

Boyle, 48, had been expected to triumph after her performance in April of "I Dreamed a Dream" catapulted her to international superstardom.

She sang the same song in Saturday's final, but rousing though the performance was, it was not enough to trump the outsiders Diversity who won by public vote.

The 10-member troupe from Essex, England and London receives 100,000 pounds ($160,000) and will perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.

Boyle, an unemployed church volunteer who joked she had never been kissed and has been described by newspapers as "frumpy" and a "hairy angel", was the antithesis of what many people believed made a celebrity.

Clips of the April show were downloaded more than 150 million times on the Internet, films crews camped outside her home in a small town in Scotland and tabloid reporters have followed her every move.

Boyle appeared on U.S. chat shows hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Larry King, but it was not enough to win the show. She came second, and saxophonist Julian Smith was third. [LA TIMES]

NEW MOON TRAILER LEAKED SET PHOTOS

ET  leaked the first 15 seconds from the trailer for New Moon. The full trailer is scheduled to air during the MTV Movie Awards.

BRITNEY SPEARS SUED FOR RUNNING OVER TMZ PHOTOGRAPHER FOOT VIDEO

Britney Spears working hard at her comeback career but there are some things in her past that don't change. Poor Britney is getting sued again for her lack of driving skills after she ran over a TMZ photographer. The pap didn't make much of a fuss after the Britney incident happened and auctioned off his tire marked shoes.

A former TMZ photographer is suing Britney Spears over an incident in which his foot was run over.

Ricardo Mendoza filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles on Friday against the singer. The lawsuit claims that Spears negligently operated her car and committed assault and battery when she ran over his foot in Beverly Hills in October 2007.

Several media outlets picked up footage of the incident, including celebrity gossip site TMZ, where Mendoza worked at the time.

TMZ, which first reported the lawsuit, auctioned off his tire-stained sock and donated the proceeds to charity.

The incident happened during a turbulent period for Spears, who hours earlier had lost custody of her two sons. She has since regained visitation rights. [SOURCE]

ANGELINA JOLIE INJURED ON SET OF "SALT" HOSPITALIZED AFTER HEAD BUMP

There is news that starlet Angelina Jolie was injured on the set of her film "Salt".  The actress who suffered minor injuries returned to shooting on the set. We hope you feel better Angie.

After sustaining a minor injury on the Long Island, N.Y. set of Salt today, Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital. She reportedly bumped her head and suffered a small cut between her eyes. A spokesperson for the movie's studio, Sony, confirmed that Jolie is now fine. In a statement, the studio said: "This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie Salt, Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie was taken to a local hospital, examined and released. She is now back on set and production of the film has resumed." [EW]

The Insider" confirms that Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital after an accident on the set of her new action flick.

"This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie 'Salt,' Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury," a rep for Sony Pictures says. "As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed."

AKON PAYS RESPECT TO SLAIN RAPPER RODERICK "DOLLA" BURTON SPEAKS ABOUT MURDER VIDEO

Akon spoke out about the senseless murder of Konvict artist, Dolla, who was killed outside of the Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles.  Dolla was laid to rest in a traditional Muslim ceremony. Watch the Akon video posted on SOHH where the singer speaks out about gun violence. The prime suspect in the Dolla murder is Aubrey Louis Berry.

Speaking to a crowd of students, the rapper described the misguided image of guns and violence.

"He was a great kid, he didn't deserve it," Akon said of the 21-year-old Dolla, who was in Los Angeles to work on his first album A Dolla & A Dream. "The reason he got shot was probably the most miscellaneous thing ever. It's to a point now where we're always trying to find ways to deal with our issues, deal with all these main challenges which is very hard, especially when we're surrounded by an environment that don't really have morals." Akon, who has been accused of embellishing his own criminal past, also called the murder "a very senseless crime." (Rolling Stone)

It's good to see that Akon is talking about something positive after his fake gangster thug rap sheet fell apart. R.I.P. Dolla.

Slain Konvict Muzik recording artist Dolla was buried in Atlanta Saturday afternoon (May 23) in a traditional Muslim ceremony, a friend of the young rapper told AllHipHop.com.Hundreds gathered at Word of Faith Love Center to pay their final respects to 21-year-old Roderick Anthony Burton Jr., affectionately called “Buck” by his friends and family.In keeping with the Janazah ceremony used by the Muslim faith to pay homage to the dead, several friends and family were dressed in traditional white attire. Dolla’s body was wrapped in a cream-colored sheet.The funeral was held in keeping with Dolla’s wishes. His cousin, rapper Scrapp DeLeon, told Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL-TV that Dolla once told him that he did not fear death and when it came he wanted people to wear white and celebrate his life. Essence.com reported that a source told them the couple got married in a private ceremony in Miami a few weeks ago. T.I.'s publicist, Sydney Margetson, told S2S that the news is "absolutely not true."

T.I. and Tiny have been engaged for well over two years, and they are raising a family together in Atlanta.

There was speculation that the two were planning to jump the broom before T.I. reported for his 366-day prison sentence on Tuesday and he began serving his time, but the two still haven't tied the knot. [HIPHOP STAN]

RIHANNA TO TESTIFY FACE CHRIS BROWN IN COURT AS POSSIBLE WITNESS IN ASSAULT CASE

Rihanna is scheduled to face her former lover pop star Chris Brown in court after he was charged with assault.  Chris Brown recently went on youtube and Bow Wow's Justin.tv channel to proclaim his innocence via video and tell his fans "I Ain't A Monster".

Rihanna's lawyer has said that the pop star will appear at a hearing next month as a possible witness in the assault case against Chris Brown.

The singer's attorney, Donald Etra has told prosecutors that Rihanna will be summoned by the court to testify during a preliminary hearing at a Los Angeles court on June 22.

A judge yesterday also rejected a motion by Brown's lawyers to receive police and investigative records in the case.  The judge told Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos the motion was 'premature' and could file it again after the preliminary hearing.

Brown last appeared in court in April, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of felony assault and making criminal threats.

If convicted, Brown faces anywhere from probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.

The charges stem from a bust-up between the pair almost a month ago on February 8, the morning of the Grammy Awards.

Brown and Rihanna were scheduled to perform but had to pull out in mysterious circumstances.

Later in the day, Brown turned himself into West Hollywood police after he was accused of assaulting a female in his car.

Yesterday new footage showed the singer Rihanna has thrown herself into her work since returning to the spotlight.

BONNIE SWEETEN CARJACKING HOAX RACIAL LIES ABOUT JULIA RAKOCZY ABDUCTION VIDEO

Bonnie Sweeten told a bold faced lie and made up a story when she falsely reported that she and her daughter were abducted by Black men. This is awful and so wrong.

The alleged kidnapping of Bonnie Sweeten and her 9-year-old daughter smelled foul from the start, said Shaun Mullen in The Moderate Voice. The media treated the carjacking tale “as if it were Armageddon on wheels”—a blonde, blue-eyed suburban Pennsylvania mom and her girl were reportedly snatched by two black men in a Cadillac. Now police say she made the whole thing up—she and her daughter were found at Disney World. It’s too bad real kidnappings of black children in Philadelphia don’t get this kind of coverage.

Let's hope they enjoyed Disney World, said Maria E. Andreu in the Newark, N.J., Star-Ledger, because now Bonnie Sweeten is facing charges for calling in a false report to 911. But the rest of us should be ashamed, too, for failing to mend our ways after Susan Smith’s infamous false and racially-tinged report 15 years ago. “Our collective consciousness still holds stereotypes that make it too easy for the ‘criminal black man’ to be a short-hand we share.” [THE WEEK]
