According to WWD, Armani underwear sales have skyrocketed after ads were released featuring soccer star David Beckham. Selfridges witnessed a 50 percent leap in sales of Armani white men's briefs after the British press reported Beckham would be the new face, or rather body, of Emporio Armani underwear. Sales of the entire Emporio Armani underwear line rose on average by 30 percent across the range, the store said.

Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, who is a member of the "Spice Girls", released the following official statement to squelch rumors about her husband David Beckham's digital “bulge” enhancement in the latest Giorgio Armani ads.“I’m proud I still have a really good sex life with David. He is very much in proportion. He does have a huge one, though. He does. You can see it in the advert. It is all his. It is like a tractor exhaust pipe!” Um...I don't know about you, Posh...but we're blushing. A word of advice, Vics. We know you love your man. But that's just a little T.M.I. Translation its definitely a bit..."too much information."

In the CNN interview, Posh doesn't help Becks masculinity, by calling him as an "original Spice Boy." She also gives Larry King a G-rated response to the naming of their son, Brooklyn, who was rumored to have been named after the place he was conceived. Hubby, David Beckham, is also keeping busy in a recent guest appearance on the "Snoop it Like Beckham" episode of Snoop Dogg's new E! Channel 'Father Hood' reality show . In the segment, "D. Beck" gives the "Dogg Father" and his pups aka children a soccer lesson. We thought it was pretty entertaining and decided to share. David “Becks” Beckham models white briefs and goes full-frontal in steamy underwear ads for designer Giorgio Armani. The new sexy advertising campaign will see him on billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.

Of the campaign, Giorgio Armani said David is truly a modern day icon in that his fame extends well beyond the realm of soccer. And he chose Beckham because he represented “a notion of modern masculinity: as a sports hero, husband and father.” In the ads, the hot hubby of Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham flaunts a come hither stare, flawless pecks and chiseled six-pack. In fact, Becks physique looks so striking in the ad campaign, that some are suggesting that a bit of computer magic might have been used to enhance his body and impressive “Goldenbulge.”

According to the Daily Mail when Beckham's spokesman was asked if the images had been enhanced to give Beckham a greater appeal, he replied: “No comment.”

In comparison, when David Beckham wore similar white trunks while on vacation off Italy's Ligurian coast 18 months ago, he just did not seem to fill them as well.
