Britain's Got Talent star, Susan Boyle, has reportedly checked out of the mental hospital. The BGT singer is expected to hit the US in an attempt to cash in on her music career. Shouldn't Susan be getting more rest with her cat after her emotional nervous breakdown?
Susan Boyle, the world's most famous runner-up, has been released from a London clinic where she was treated for a nervous breakdown.
And it looks like her next stop is the United States.
"She's absorbing the fact that America has a huge appetite for her," the singer's brother, Gerry, told Britain's GMTV Friday. "And she's now beginning to believe that 'Yes, indeed, I will be a singer and there will be a recording career beyond it.' It's all she ever wanted to do."
Boyle, 48, captivated millions across the globe with her golden pipes and dowdy anti-diva persona on the TV contest, "Britain's Got Talent."
But as her fame grew and the pressure to win the competition mounted, the Scottish spinster began acting erratically. Last week, after she lost the finals to a dance troupe, she checked into the Priory clinic with emotional exhaustion. [NYDN]
