BILLY BOB THORTON INTERVIEW GOES CRAZY ON THE RADIO PULLS A JOAQUIN PHOENIX ON CBC Q TV

An unsuspecting radio host learned the lesson that you're not supposed to call the Oscar winning actor/director/ screenwriter anything other than a musician while he is promoting his band "The Box Masters". Watch Angelina Jolie's ex-husband Billy Bob Thorton go crazy while he loses his mind live on the air.  Can anyone explain why he's acting like Joaquin Phoenix? 

Whenever I watch Curb Your Enthusiasm, I do it standing up. This is because I experience severe vicarious embarrassment, and I frequently have to leave the room. Sometimes during a particularly grueling scene I'll be in the kitchen peaking around the corner. That's how bad it gets.

So you can maybe understand that I had no interest in listening to Billy Bob Thornton's bizarre interview with CBC's Jian Ghomeshi on Q the Craig mentioned this morning. For the record, I'm only listening because my boss made me. Thanks Steve.

My god. What's going on in Hollywood these days? First Joaquin Phoenix, now Billy Bob? Is there some new drug that makes its victim free associate while being simultaneously stupid and arrogant? (and is it fun?) Or is there a syndrome that specifically attacks actor/musicians with similar results?  [CBC]
