Angelina Jolie's new W magazine breastfeeding cover photo is creating buzz. There is likely to be more buzz generated from what Angie said in the article including a tidbit about how she bought Maddox knives. Angelina says she is giving her 7 year-old a head start with a blunt knife collection because her mom gave her knives at eleven. Children should never have weapons as toys. Period.
Angelina once hired a hitman to kill her when she did not have the will to live and was suicidal.
ANGELINA JOLIE once hired a hit man to kill her.
The TOMB RAIDER (2001) babe, 26, no longer had the will to live and felt that a murder would be easier for her family to cope with than suicide. She says, "This is going to sound insane, but there was a time I was going to hire somebody to kill me. The person spoke very sweetly to me, he made me think about it for a month. And, after a month, other things changed in my life and I was surviving again".
"With suicide comes all the guilt of people around you thinking they could have done something . With somebody being murdered, nobody takes some kind of guilty responsibility. " source
Angelina confessed in an interview with James Lipton from the Actor's Studio about her aspirations to be a funeral director, the "kissy girls' and Angie's dark fascination with cutting, knives and death.

JL: "How old were you when you and your first boyfriend first started cutting each other?"
AJ:"I had started having sex and sex wasn't enough so in a moment of wanting to find something honest we started cutting each other. So I went through a period of when I'd feel trapped I would cut myself and it was a way of releasing something."
Angelina Jolie has already bought her eldest son his first knife - because she thinks it's important he learns about the dangers and benefits of daggers.
The actress, a longtime knife collector, was 11 when her mother took her weapon shopping for the first time - and she recently treated adopted son Maddox to his first dagger.
But she insists her son's first knife was dulled for safety and came with a serious talk about violence.
Jolie tells the November issue of W magazine, "We take him to a special shop. We also talk about Samurais and the idea about defending someone as good. We talk about everything." While others may find the choice of gift upsetting, Angelina claims that the gesture is traditional, as her late mother Marcheline Bertrand took her knife-shopping when she was 11.
That explains so much!
Jolie's fascination with weaponry never left her, and the actress still bears scars from experimental knife play in bed and admits that she used to cut herself when she was a teenager.
She says that the pain made her "feel alive."
She also admits that she and Brad do own a gun, which they keep at home and would not hesitate to use to defend their family.
