RIHANNA AND CHRIS BROWN SPOTTED AT KFC AGAIN

Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted again hanging out at KFC in Hollywood.

Why don't they have someone make the food runs for them?  The pair were revealed to be a couple when they were caught having a makeout session at a KFC. There were rumors that Rihanna was broke. We just wonder if the Grammy Award winning Umbrella hitmaker took KFC up on their shady deal to give her and Chris  a free meal in exchange for photo ops. Rihanna was recently spotted front row at Gucci during Milan Fashion Week and at the Vanity Fair Fab 5 party.

In an open letter to the "Umbrella" singer, KFC Chief Marketing Officer James O'Reilly wrotes:

"Dear Rihanna:
We were very excited by your and Chris Brown’s recent visit to a Miami-area KFC restaurant.  Clearly, like Kentucky Fried Chicken and our founder Colonel Sanders, you two know how to kick it up a few degrees. Of course, this offer from KFC is nothing compared to the deal Popeye's Chicken gave to Beyoncé a few years back, when the chicken chain gave her a card guaranteeing her free food at any Popeye's for life after the singer mentioned how much she enjoyed their product on Oprah Winfrey's talk show. source

JANET JACKSON HOSPITALIZED IN MONTREAL CANCELS CONCERT TOUR

According to MTV News Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital after getting ill in Montreal. Janet  is reportedly going to reschedule the canceled show. Janet is currently on a North American tour entitled "Rock Witchu," her first tour in nearly seven years. Janet Jackson recently split with her record label Island/Def Jam.    source

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized due to an unspecified illness, according to TMZ. The singer, who is currently out on her Rock Witchu Tour, "got suddenly ill during the sound check" in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital, a rep for W&W Public Relations told the Web site.

Jackson is currently being monitored, but at press time no further information had been given about her illness or condition. E! Online reports that the singer hopes to reschedule the tour stop.

It's been a bumpy year for the singer. On Friday, she called off a show in Detroit due to "production constraints," according to TMZ. She plans to reschedule that stop as well. The tour, which also features LL Cool J, is slated to continue through October 22.

Last week, Jackson announced that she would be parting ways with Island Def Jam Records after just 14 months. The singer's publicist noted that the label agreed to dissolve the relationship upon Jackson's request.

"Now, more than 20 years after the release of her iconic album, Control, Janet will have autonomy over her career, without the restrictions of a label system," Jackson's publicist said in a statement. source

BRITNEY SPEARS SEXTAPE BRIT'S EX-ADNAN GHALIB IS SELLING SEX TAPE FOR RIGHT PRICE

Brithey Spears is on the road to recovery and trying to make a career comeback. Brit's sleazy ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib told British Magazine Heat that he is trying to extend his fifteen minutes of fame and fatten his wallet with the sale of an infamous sextape. The tape was reportedly filmed in between Britney Spears' nervous breakdown and stints in the mental hospital.

Britney Spears' camp is claiming the story isn't true and no tape exists but can they be sure?

It was also claimed the 20 minute tape shows Britney in nothing but a pink wig; and consists of "a long session of kinky foreplay."

But a source close to the Toxic singer tells E! News, "The story is completely false." source

This is not the sex symbol phase of Britney Spears' career but the tragic chapter when the fallen pop idol was speaking gibberish, wearing pink wigs and suffering from multiple personality disorder.

BRITNEY SPEARS' ex-boyfriend has confirmed he owns a sex tape featuring himself and the US singer.

ADNAN GHALIB, the British pap whom she dated during her breakdown, says he WILL sell the tape for the right price.

He told Heat magazine: "There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical enquiries.

"Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.”

An unconfirmed source claims the two-hour X-rated footage features Britney naked wearing just a pink wig and was allegedly shot while on holiday in Mexico.

Adnan added: “I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney. “ source

Guests including Mr. and Mrs. Marc Anthony, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, and Dita Von Teese (in other words, the contents of the afternoon's VIP room) ate pasta alla pomodoro, cotoletta alla Milanese, and irresistible little nubbins of Sicilian cassata. NANCY PELOSI SPEECH VIDEO HOUSE SPEAKER BLAMED FOR $700B BAILOUT BILL FAILURE

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been blamed for the House rejection of the bailout bill.  Nancy Pelosi made a speech about the financial crisis that the GOP called "partisan" because she questioned having Congress write a $700 billion dollar check that tax payers would be paying for while the nation sank into a Great Depression. "[W]hen was the last time someone asked you for $700bn? It is a number that is staggering, but tells us only the costs of the Bush administration's failed economic policies — policies built on budgetary recklessness, on an anything-goes mentality, with no regulation, no supervision, and no discipline in the system."

"Democrats believe in the free market, which can and does create jobs, wealth, and capital, but left to its own devices it has created chaos."

"Democrats insisted that legislation responding to this crisis must protect the American people and Main Street from the meltdown on Wall Street. The American people did not decide to dangerously weaken our regulatory and oversight policies. They did not make unwise and risky financial deals. They did not jeopardise the economic security of the nation. And they must not pay the cost of this emergency recovery and stabilisation bill."

"Today we will act to avert this crisis, but informed by our experience of the past eight years with the failed economic leadership … We choose a different path. In the new year, with a new Congress and a new president, we will break free with a failed past and take America in a new direction to a better future." source

Everyone is surprised. The bailout bill failed on Monday; some two-thirds of the Democrats backed the legislation; Republicans could not come up with the 12 more votes needed to get it passed. Republican leaders--astoundingly--blamed a speech House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made from the House floor. What an irresponsible cheap shot during a time of a national emergency. Some feelings were hurt by Pelosi? Oh please.

HOUSE VOTE ON $700B BAILOUT PLAN HR 3997 REJECTED STOCKS PLUMMET ON WALL STREET

The House of Representatives has rejected President Bush's HR 3997 Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. Stocks plummeted after news spread that the Wall Street bailout plan had not passed.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told reporters this afternoon "the legislation failed, but the crisis is still with us." The House GOP leadership blamed the Speaker for the $700 billion intervention bill's failure. President Bush this morning urged lawmakers to act quickly to approve the financial system bailout plan hammered out over the weekend, acknowledging that the vote will be "difficult" in the face of opposition from taxpayers and voters, but necessary to protect the economy. source

Stocks on Wall Street took a blood bath Monday afternoon after the Treasury Department's proposed aid package for the financial sector failed to pass the House of Representatives.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, which sank as much as 705 points, was down 612 points to 10,530, and the S&P 500 lost 79 points to 1134. The Nasdaq plummeted 140 points to 2044.

The $700 billion proposal floated last week by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson failed to garner sufficient votes to make it through the House of Representatives. The package, which would have set up a facility to use government money to buy troubled assets from financial firms, was voted down with an initial tally of 206 votes for the bill to 227 against. The controversial piece of legislation had earlier been expected to make it through. A total of 218 votes are required to pass the bill.

"This is a wholesale dumping of stocks," said Robert Pavlik, chief investment officer with Oaktree Asset Management. "The Street is trying to indirectly send a message that if this thing doesn't get passed, you'll be faced with a wholesale market selloff, anything across the board." source

HEATHER LOCKLEAR ARRESTED ON DUI CHARGE IN CALIFORNIA

Heather Locklear is having a pretty tough time this year. The once squeaky clean actress known for turning up the drama on soap operas is having alot of her own drama. The latest news is that Heather Locklear was arrested in California on a DUI charge. Heather Locklear's doctor made a "suicide attempt" 911 call in March after he feared his patient was suicidal. Heather later checked in to a mental hospital to get treatment for her anxiety and depression. Here is a walk down memory lane with a clip from Melrose Place.

Heather Locklear is seeking treatment for psychological issues at an Arizona facility, her publicist confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

"Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment," says Locklear's rep, Cece Yorke. "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released." source

Heather's ex-husband rocker Richie Sambora was busted for a DUI last March while his daughter was in the car.

Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance in the upscale Santa Barbara area, authorities said Sunday.

Locklear, 47, was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer Saturday afternoon after a resident reported seeing the actress leaving a parking lot and "driving erratically," CHP spokesman Tom Marshall said.

The officer noticed Locklear's car parked on a state highway and blocking a lane in Montecito, a wealthy community about 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles. She was believed to be alone in the car, Marshall said.

"In talking with her, (the officer) determines that she seems to be under the influence of something," Marshall said.    

Locklear was taken to the police station where she was tested for alcohol and drugs. She was booked at 7 p.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication. She was later released from custody.

Calls to Locklear's publicists were not immediately returned. source

Tina Fey returned to Saturday Night Live to impersonate and parody Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin  was an obvious SNL choice for satire after her comical Katie Couric interview where she claimed to have foreign policy experience based on the proximity of Alaska to Russia. Watch the latest Tina Fey sketch mocking Sarah Palin's folksy accent and lack of knowledge about political and economic issues. Tina Fey has been focusing on her Emmy award winning role on 30 Rock. Fey returned to the season opening of SNL to parody Palin in a skit with Amy Poehler as a disgruntled Hillary Clinton. Watch the videos if you missed them.

Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live," again appearing as the Republican vice presidential candidate in an opening sketch.

Saturday night's show — the third of the season for the NBC comedy program — brought back the season premiere tandem of Fey and Amy Poehler, who opened the season with a memorable sketch featuring Fey as Palin and Poehler as Hillary Clinton.

This time around, Poehler played CBS's Katie Couric, parodying the interview with Palin earlier this week. Poehler, though, mostly played straight man to Fey, who ratcheted up her performance of Sen. John McCain's running mate by satirizing her foreign affairs experience.

When Poehler's Couric pushed Fey's Palin to specifically discuss how she would help facilitate democracy abroad, Fey gave in: "Katie, I'd like to use one of my lifelines. ... I want to phone a friend."

When a confused Poehler informed her that that wasn't how the interview worked, Fey's Palin responded — alluding to one of the governor's most quoted lines from the interview — "Well, in that case, I'm just gonna have to get back to ya."

Fey, a former cast member and head writer of "SNL," has seemingly been thrust back into regular appearances on the program despite her full-time gig with NBC's "30 Rock."

She is widely considered to look like Palin, and "SNL" executive producer Lorne Michaels persuaded her to ride the show's hot hand. Her first appearance as the Alaskan governor two weeks ago was a huge hit, helping boost the premiere's ratings and garnering attention online.

Fey wasn't the only former cast member who returned Saturday night. Chris Parnell came back to play presidential debate moderator Jim Lehrer in a sketch that parodied Friday night's contest between McCain and Democratic rival Barack Obama — which occurred less than 27 hours earlier than the live "SNL" broadcast.

The sketch mainly played up McCain's attempts to shake up the debate process, as Darrell Hammond's McCain urged his opponent to join him in "nude or seminude" town hall meetings. source

PAUL NEWMAN DIES HOLLYWOOD LEGEND DEAD AT 83 LOSES CANCER BATTLE - RIP

Binside TV is sad to report that legendary actor Paul Newman has lost his battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 83. A friend of Paul Newman confirmed that the actor and humanitarian was ailing from the illness.  He will be sadly missed. Our prayers and condolences go out to Paul Newman's friends and family members. Paul Newman, the legendary actor whose steely blue eyes, good-humored charm and advocacy of worthy causes made him one of the most renowned figures in American arts, has died of cancer at his home in Westport, Connecticut. He was 83.
He died Friday, according to spokeswoman Marni Tomljanovic.

Newman attained stardom in the 1950s and never lost the movie-star aura, appearing in such classic films as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Exodus," "The Hustler," "Cool Hand Luke," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Sting" and "The Verdict."

He finally won an Oscar in 1986 -- on his eighth try -- for "The Color of Money," a sequel to "The Hustler." He later received two more Oscar nominations. Among his other awards was the Motion Picture Academy's Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

"Paul took advantage of what life offered him, and while personally reluctant to acknowledge that he was doing anything special, he forever changed the lives of many with his generosity, humor, and humanness," said Robert Forrester, vice chairman of the actor's Newman's Own Foundation. "His legacy lives on in the charities he supported and the Hole in the Wall Camps, for which he cared so much."

He was often willing to make fun of himself. Early in his career he was mistaken for fellow Method actor Marlon Brando; Newman obligingly signed autographs, "Best wishes, Marlon Brando."

Newman was a Method-trained actor who blazed his own career trail and didn't shy away from risky roles -- inside and outside films.

A portrayal as a race-car driver in 1969's "Winning" led to his actual competition in races; at 70, he participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona and he was still racing at age 80. source
