BEYONCE L'OREAL AD PHOTOSHOP WHITEWASH?

L'Oreal just released a new ad featuring Beyonce and it's causing some controversy. Beyonce looks pale with very blonde hair and straight nose. Many people and gossip bloggers are wondering what happened because Bey looks like she's suffering from Michael Jackson syndrome and agreed with the white wash of her ethnic features and skin. Here are the terms of Beyonce's endorsement deal.

Singer Beyonce Knowles has signed a $4.7 endorsement deal with L'Oreal. The five-year contract calls for her to work 10 days a year for photo shoots and to make promotional and personal appearances within that time.

L'Oreal has the option to extend those 10 days to 12 but will pay $25,000 a day for the extra time. Beyonce must keep her hair in "excellent condition" and notify the company if she plans to make "any radical change." source

TMZ made a photo comparison to the ad and received some harsh comments.

Beyonce Williams looks white because SHE wants to look white. Just like so many other black women. They love to say how they're proud of their heritage, and they'll take full advantage of the race issue (if it's to THEIR advantage), but they still gotsta have a white woman's hair.

Black women - you hair is frizzy and black. That's how it is. It's getting ridiculous to see some of these LaShondas with staright, long blonde hair or those ludicrous sculptured 'do's that look like the goddamn eiffel tower w/ feathers...as if that makes them attractive to rich black NBA players. Face it, LaSqueeshia.... when a black guy gets rich he's STILL gonna dump you for a REAL white woman.

Well I know that the comment I am about to make is for damn sure not going to get approved. So whoever the f**k you are sitting behind your computer...u are real bold because you would not be saying that in front of anyone. Ignorant is not even the word to describe. I feel sorry for your kids (if you have any) or your future kids. I don't see what the big deal is. Beyonce is already a light skinned woman and the lighter skin could have easily come from brighter lighting during the photo shoot, makeup variations, she may have been inside alot and wasn't tanned. Could be a numerous amount of things. I speak from experience as I too am a light skinned woman. I think she looks beautiful, and why is everyone tripp'n so hard? Beyonce obviously isn't. There has been more degrading things that we have done to embarace our people that we don't even make this much fuss over. Lets pick a better battle folks. This makes us look petty.

Yeah she does look white...And to all the other commentators you guys have not experienced the life of a minority. The majority of americans are white and its just frustrating to have something like that take a hit on your self esteem especially black girls with darker skin. There are many who feel unaccepted and unattractive.
