Amy Winehouse was supposed to be recuperating from her busy weekend in the hospital but she checked out of the hospital today.
Her representative, Chris Goodman, said, "She has left [the] hospital. She is continuing as an outpatient."
The singer, 24, returned to the facility during rehearsals and between her performances for Nelson Mandela and at the Glastonbury Festival. But she left for good on Monday. "She will return for regular appointments for check[-up]s," said Goodman. He adds, "There comes a time when you are ready to leave the hospital, and so she left. No one was trying to keep her there. It was completely up to her – everyone knew she would not stay there forever." source
Amy Winehouse Glastonbury 2008 Unholy War
She was first said to be suffering from emphysema caused by smoking on the crack pipe until her reps denied the singer had the illness. She performed at Nelson Mandela's 46664 charity concert and shocked many people by the things she said and did at her Glastonbury performance. Amy Winehouse spat her gum out on stage during the show towards the crowd. Amy got worse by the end of her performance when she punched a fan in the face. Watch Amy Winehouse diss rapper Kanye West at the 1:57 mark. Amy's comment was about Kanye West's delayed concert performance where he was booed at Bonnaroo.
It was a bizarre ending to a set that Winehouse began in high spirits. "You don't even know how happy I am to be here tonight. I feel like they should make up a new word in the dictionary for happy, and have a picture of me there," she told the crowd before 'Tears Dry On Their Own'. She later joked about the small blue dress she was wearing, saying: "It took three women to get me into this dress. What is about women? It takes us 'nuff time to get dressed, but pow, no time at all to get undressed." The singer's spirits seemed to darken, however, when she talked about her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil before 'Back To Black', the title track of her huge-selling 2006 album. "My husband is out of jail in two weeks," she explained, leading to a negative reaction from some parts of the crowd. "Who booed?" she asked. "I'll find you, take your phone, ring your mum and tell her about your bad manners. "I thought I'd die with the man, then I was torn apart from him," she continued. "I'm serious, I'd never loved a white man before - then he came and hit me over the head with a cricket bat. Not literally, obviously." Towards the end of the set, the singer's comments between songs became increasingly bizarre. Firstly she asked: "Are there any black people in the crowd? Where's Don Letts?" before 'Love Is A Losing Game', then launched into a tirade about Jay-Z and Kanye West. She said: "Let's hear it for Jay-Z. The man has got bollocks to come here, and play the tunes you don't even know you remember. Imagine if it was a cunt like Kanye West. 'Cunts Like Kanye' - that should be his next album title." source
She also seemed to take lessons from the Don Imus handbook when she made comments about Black people in the crowd. Amy was already criticized for her racist song chant in a leaked crack den sextape video. The highlight of her show was when Amy sang a diss about rapper Kanye West.
During tabloid fave Amy Winehouse's set on Saturday, she performed a track called "Some Unholy War," in which she took the opportunity to call out Kanye. In a YouTube clip posted over the weekend, Winehouse is heard ending the song with "At least, I’m not opening for a c*nt like Kanye." The two musicians have never had any history of bad blood, but since the line by Winehouse, many speculate that it came after all the bad publicity surround West's performance a the recent Tennessee-based Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, during which West was delayed from hitting the stage for nearly two hours garnering boos from concertgoers. West has since blamed the festival's organizers for the long delay. West has already responded to Winehouse's line, via his official blog. He posted a title-only post, in all caps, that read "This just in... Amy Winehouse Hates Me!! Now I've really made it!!! LOL!!! Winehouse has yet to publicly comment on the diss.

Amy Winehouse also threw a punch at rapper Kanye West. The Rehab singer sang the lyrics "At Least I'm Not Opening For A C*nt Like Kanye" when she sang during her set for Some Unholy War. Kanye took to his blog and wrote about Amy Winehouse's comment.
THIS JUST IN... AMY WHINEHOUSE HATES ME!!! NOW I'VE REALLY MADE IT!!! LOL!!!!
Jay-z responded to the Amy Winehouse diss after his controversial Glastonbury performance.
When it came to fellow Glastonbury performer Amy Winehouse's dis of Jay's friend Kanye West, the Jiggaman quipped he wanted to make peace.
"She said something about Kanye late on [in her set] but I didn't hear it," he said. "I don't agree with it. He's my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-A-Fella right now. ... I guess I should hook them up, because he's a great guy, too. I don't know what the problem is. I don't know where that came from." source
The crackhead singer also punched a fan in the face during her show. Amy's reps released a statement that the singer was trying to prevent the fan from pulling off her wig. However, if you watch Amy Winehouse's performance she kept straightening the lopsided beehive wig that was sliding on her head and looked like it was going to fall off. We don't know how ill Amy Winehouse is because it seems that each time she runs her mouth and makes an offensive comment like when she was caught singing a racist song in a crack den or punches a fan she conveniently is able to check into the hospital like she's going on a spa vacation.
What is she doing at the hospital because everytime Amy checks out she's just as cracked out and stoned as when she checked in because she doesn't seem to be getting any help for her addictions. Amy was extremely thin and unhealthy looking at Glastonbury. She was slurring and staggering around the stage like a crazed looking crack zombie. Watch Amy Winehouse's cracked out Glastonbury performances below. She punches out a fan during Rehab towards the end of the third clip. Warning not appropriate for anyone to watch when crackheads attack.

Really why does the media love this crackhore talentless freak? She doesn't even have respect for her fans, the only ones who seem to respect what shes doing. They should stick her in prison with her crackhead husband for GBH. She surely can't get away with assaulting someone?

Good on ya Spray. This woman is an absolute appaling disgrace. Myself and millions of other musicians would give any thing to be where she is and here we are, once again, being presented with pictures of an "icon" acting in exactly the same way as someone living in a crack den. It's fucking disgusting, sad and pathetic. There is only one "cunt" around here...

Do you think it suddenly occurred to her that most of her "fans" are actually just waiting for her to collapse into a crack fuelled supernova that's why there were so many people there? maybe if evryone ignored her then she would crawl back to wherever her hair came from and we could all be saved from seeing her pathetic figure at every turn.........Damn that feels better.
Amy Winehouse has reportedly checked back into hospital after her two performances in two days.
After singing at the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Concert in Hyde Park on Friday and at Glastonbury last night, Amy is said to have travelled back to London and the £2000-a-night private hospital, The Clinic.
A source explained: “She’s back at the Clinic. She likes it there and feels secure. She doesn’t have any worries while she’s in there.
“She even went back after the show on Friday night because she prefers it to her home.”
Both performances have been criticised for being patchy - with her slurrying the words and singing out of tune at times, largely attributed to her current chest infection - and for her behaviour on-stage, including spitting her chewing gum into the audience and apparently hitting an audience member as she walked around at the front of the crowd.
Amy was guided back onto the stage by security staff after the incident, which is said to have been provoked when the audience member grabbed at her infamous beehive.
An onlooker explains: “Even though the show was a bit of a shambles, most of the crowd were loving it and Amy went down to see the people at the front.
“She had her hand in the crowd and someone tried to grab it, then another person tried to grab her hair, causing her to react instinctively.” source
