The Columbia co-ed wants to know how Lohan ended up wearing her $11,000 blond mink coat - and is demanding the "Mean Girl" pay for the impromptu rental.

Masha Markova, 22, believed she had forever lost the prized jacket - a gift from her grandmother - while attending a private birthday party at 1Oak in the Meatpacking District in the early-morning hours of Jan. 26.  The club was closed for a friend of jet-setting playboy Stavros Niarchos, Markova said.

She added that at one point, she was seated next to Lohan, and recalled putting the mink in a common bin with other jackets.

It was gone when she prepared to leave 1Oak after an hour, Markova said.

Two weeks later, Markova flipped through the Feb. 11 edition of OK! Magazine and couldn't believe her eyes - Lohan was photographed the night of Jan. 26 wearing the very same fur coat.

"I was actually talking on the phone to my grandmother about something else, and then I flipped through the magazine, saw the picture said, 'I need to call you back,' " Markova told The Post yesterday.

Lohan's mink coat mix-up

Is Lohan a thief? "Yes," a source exclusively tells Star. " stole $10,000 worth of clothes and accessories from one of her former friends, Lauren Hastings, and has absolutely no shame about it. In fact, she even laughed about it with her girlfriends, among them Nicole Richie and DJ Samantha Ronson."

On Sunday night, April 15, visited Lauren's home in Los Angeles, which at the time was being watched over by a mutual friend because Lauren, a model, was working on a shoot in Texas. According to the source, told Lauren's house sitter that she had left some of her clothes at the house and needed to pick them up. The house sitter, a mutual friend to Lauren and , saw no reason would lie about such a thing, and so she let the starlet inside!

But Lohan, whose normally chummy relationship with Lauren recently turned sour, scurried into her former pal's bedroom, her bodyguard tagging along, and gathered up huge armfuls of clothes, purses and belts, a source tells Star. Almost everything was expensive, designer items, things Hastings picked up on various modeling shoots or bought at high-end designer stores. In all, the source says and her bodyguard left with an estimated $10,000 in merchandise, which she ordered her security man to load into her car.

"The mutual friend saw leaving with everything, but she just didn't think that would actually be lying about the clothes and steal their friend's things! At the time, she was under the impression that and Lauren were still friends! That is, until Lauren came home the following day and flipped out. She started yelling, 'Where are all of my clothes? Where are my things?'"

That Monday night, April 16, a sobbing Lauren went to a friend's house for support and decided to text message , demanding all her things be returned. That's when a text messaging war broke out between the ladies. "It was nasty," describes a source who has read the text message exchange.

"Lauren sent a text message threatening to go to the police and press charges," a source said. source

Lohan's enemies are coming out of hiding in the wake of her fur-coat controversy and now a model is rehashing her claims that Lohan stole her clothing as well.

The same week a Columbia University student insisted Lohan swiped her $11,000 blond mink coat in New York City earlier this year, model Lauren Hastings says on the buzznet.com Web site that lifted thousands of dollars worth of items from her closet, Inside Edition reports.

"Basically, I have two closets, a lot of the stuff was missing out of one and the next closet was almost completely empty," Hastings says on a video featured on the buzznet site, claiming her things disappeared during an unauthorized late-night party tossed by her housesitter.

Citing five witnesses, Hastings, 23, also alleges, "They all said they saw Lohan basically in my closet, handing a bag of clothes to her bodyguard."

In an email to PEOPLE, Lohan's rep responds: "This is all not true. It's not what it seems."

Police reportedly searched for the missing items, but they were not recovered. According to documents that Inside Edition obtained from the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, Hastings did report the theft of clothing, but the DA's office pressed no charges against Lohan, due to insufficient evidence.

Said Hastings: "I contacted and said, 'Look, I know you stole my clothes.' She then said I was completely delusional, I was pathetic." source

Give me a break, how much is Lohan worth? I am sure she doesn't need to steal clothes from wannabe actress's and NY co-eds. The fur coats owner admits she put her coat in a common bin at a NY night club. I am sure Lindsay took the wrong coat by accident. Imagine taking the wrong coat from a club, how on earth do you get it back to its right full owner. The owner should be glad Lindsay wore the jacket and was photographed in it. If she didn't there would no way for its owner to know what happened to it.

Whoa, whoa, wait the hell a minute! So this Masha Markova person never noticed that she's not wearing her said coat when she left the party for home?????!!!! So she's dumber or drunker than ever. I don't think the first four pictures and video are Lindsay Lohan. Only the playing-with-knives pictures are the true-blue images of the said teen actress-turned-into-cigarette-smoking-and-beer-
drinking-goon. I've already commented other blogs with the same topic, and I've said that it confused me that LiLo stole the coat because she can easily afford one. Unless, she stopped doing the biz and got all poor and became a beggar.
